Well I’ve obviously been neglecting my blog about as much as my weight loss initiative. So here goes once again.
My job’s wellness committee has arranged for us to have access to Weight Watchers @Work program. It’s a 12 week program where they come to our work place for meetings. My first meeting was on 1/30/2013. I really wasn’t all that impressed with it at that meeting. Everything seemed rushed and not much information was given. At this initial meeting I weighed 336. I was told that my “daily points” would be 48. So week one I followed everything to a T. I was weighing everything, increasing my veggie/fruit intake, tracking all food. So when I stepped on the scale on 2/6/2013 I wasn’t expecting to see a 1.6 lb gain. WTH!?? Well then on the 7th that lovely visitor that women my age get showed up. A whole week early. Well that explained a lot. So then I became ecstatic. Typically I gain 5lbs during that time. So a gain of 1.6 was awesome since it means I had to have lost some weight. So Week two I continued on the same course. Weigh in three was on 2/13/2013. I was down 5.8 lbs since the previous weigh in. Yeah!! So week four starts. I will be honest I didn’t stick to my plan as I should nor did I track. I had three birthday parties along with Valentines that week. So I wasn’t really all that surprised to see on 2/20/2013 that I had gained 4lbs. So back to the drawing board.
This week I am making menus and sticking to them. I can do this. I’m also going to make it a point to get my water intake goals as well as physical activity goals. Hopefully I can at least knock of those 4lbs that I regained if not more.
